No news news.

Nothing interesting to report here.

I haven't seen or talked to Hot Med this week--I wasn't kidding when I told him I wouldn't have time to see him this week. He hasn't attempted to contact me. I'm hoping that means he actually understood what I was attempting to convey. Heh. I'm still undecided about continuing to see him. I haven't really thought about him much this week--that's probably not a good sign. We'll see, I guess.

My lunch date with the pen pal is tomorrow. I'm very much looking forward to it--but I'm not really nervous about it. I guess we've communicated at enough length at this point that I'm pretty sure we'll get along fine. Whether there is any chemistry beyond friendship is anybody's guess, but I suppose we'll find that out tomorrow.

Other than that, it's a rehearsal and churchgoing kind of week. A busy weekend coming up, too...aside from Easter, it's Cat Lady Lunch Day and the monthly Mensa meeting. And at some point I've got to mow my lawn. Spring has sprung to that extent, at least.

I'll let you know how lunch goes. Ironically, we're meeting for Lebanese food. Hee.

Meeting for Lebanese food? Oh, that's just wrong, heh. Hope Hot Med doesn't frequent the place.

You rent your house, right? Shouldn't they mow for you?

Oof. You had to remind me that with spring comes lawn work, huh? For now, I'll just be grateful that my lawn is still brown and dead-looking. Shhhh; don't wake it. It's sleeping! :-)

Oh, and have fun tomorrow!

My landlord (thankfully) takes care of the lawncare and sent out someone to cut my grass last week. It was already growing kind of high. Then it snowed here in Atlanta on Monday. The weather has been crazy.

Enjoy your lunch date! Can't wait to hear how it goes.

3car, I've never rented a house that came with lawn-mowing service. Maybe that's a regional thing?

stef, my front yard is still sleeping a bit, but my backyard is WIDE awake!

stinky, this year has been crazy for weather. We've had snow AFTER people started mowing. (I'm a little late, really.)

ss, now I'm wondering if renters the world over get free lawn-mowing, except for us poor Okies. Hmm...

That's hilarious that you are meeting for Lebanese food. Plus, it just reminded me: have you ever seen the movie Party Girl, with Parker Posey in it? You should watch it, if for nothing else than the line "How about the Lebanese delight?" Heh.

Have fun with the pen pal!

I rented an apartment in a house and the landlord did mow the lawn until I convinced him I love lawn mowing and would do it for him. Which, now that I think of it, was a mistake because he was seriously hot and I could have watched him. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I would mow your lawn but the commute would kill me. Enjoy your busy, busy week!

I mowed my lawn a couple of days ago, edged it, and then carefully swept up all the loose grass from the sidewalk and deposited it in my yard waste bin. The next day, my next-door neighbor's gardener mowed his lawn and blew all the loose grass clippings from his sidewalk onto my sidewalk. Bastard.

Maybe Hot Med will be cooking the Lebanese food for you! Good times!
