When you are walking across the parking lot from the bank to the sub shop, and you pass a somewhat disreputable-looking fellow on the sidewalk, and he yells out "Got them boobies! Pretty lady! Got them boobies!" you should NOT laugh, right? 'Cause I didn't, but I sure wanted to. It was just so silly. I mean...if you could see me today. Not only am I NOT showing even the tiniest bit of cleavage, but I'm wearing a shirt and vest so loose-fitting (yay! weight loss) and comfy that I'm surprised he could even tell I was a woman at that distance. Okay, maybe the skirt gave it away. Them boobies, though? Pretty well-disguised.
Oh heck, he probably just yells that same phrase at everyone. Heh.

That would just creep me out. Maybe he meant that HE "got them boobies"...like on his person. Sure it wasn't a woman? Either way...eek.
No, it was definitely a guy. Ordinarily I WOULD be creeped out, but he didn't seem the slightest bit menacing. Just...a bit loco.
I have a hard time not laughing at creepy on-the-street comments, too?
I just want to stop and ask, "Does this ever work for you?"
I would have just cracked up...
I usually think of a witty comeback. One minute later.
I had this happen with a guy who was filling in a pothole. As I walked by on the sidewalk, he said "Nice titties you got there." It hit me about 3 paces past him and I turned and headed back, screaming my head off "What makes you think that is ok to say to me? Why? What is wrong with you? Would you say that to your mother? To your sister? Do you want people to talk that way to your mother or sister??" By then, he was RUNNING, tossing his shovel in the back of his truck and screeching away.
Hee hee.
I would have laughed, too. How else would you react to that??
The other night I was walking through the mall, and the guy at the hand cream kiosk tried to call me over for his sales schpiel by crying, "Ooh, Miss America! So pretty. Come here; let me ask you something." I just shook my head and smiled and kept walking. Does that line really ever work for him??
I'm giggling just thinking about it, so maybe I'm the wrong person to opine on this type of thing.
I would have laughed and probably thanked him and possibly have given him a dollar.
Or not.
